YouTube Tuesday #4: Peace Corps Ecotourism Development in Ghana

This is a short video that highlights the work of one Peace Corps volunteer in a village in Ghana.  She is part of the Business Development Volunteer Program, and I must say much of what I do would be very difficult with out these people helping Ghanaian’s see value in their communities, natural areas, and culture, and then helping them package that for visitors to experience.  Many of the Eco-Villages that I have traveled to in Ghana and that we make accessible to visitors in our tours were started by volunteers and communities like the one in this short video.  Thank you Peace Corps and communities in Ghana who host these volunteers and open their communities to travelers.

Interesting fact for you, Ghana was actually the first country to ever host a Peace Corps Volunteer, it all started in Ghana.
